Chris,

The sound was worse, because we had to record everything on an old pocket audio recorder. (We weren't in Belo Horizonte when we made this.) John of God does both spiritual and physical healings.

Murara

Hello Guys!

I'm from Jaraguá do Sul, a Santa Catarina city, next to Joinville and Blumenau.
I listened your first podcast last week, that's great idea.
Next weekend I'll go to my girlfriend apartment in Blumenau. And now, October, is they have a big german party, the Oktoberfest. It's a traditional party and we have tipical foods, music and lot of CHOPP. The party have twenty five years old. It's a sister of Munich's Oktoberfest in Germany.
(USA - Munich / GER - München / BRA - Munique)
Here, all most of citys are German colonization. My mother's last name is german (Schwartz). We have some italians too, for example my last name (Murara).
The south of Brazil is realy different if you compare with northeast. For example: the food, temperature, races, economy, culture, musics, and lot of things.
We like "comida mineira" (is the best), pizza, "churrasco" (barbecue), italian food.
In the winter we got -5~15ºC (23~59ºF), it depends the city location. It's cold. But the summer is so great with 25~35ºC (77~95ºF), we have a lot of beautifull and cleaner beaches. You can take a shower without fear.
I can to send more info about Santa Catarina for you.
Mail me: [email protected]

Never stop the podcasts! Congratulations.

Cheers...

Hi Luis,

Thank you for the info about southern Brazil. I've never been down there but have heard and read a lot about it. It's definitely something we'll eventually cover when we do regions of Brazil.

Bishop^

Wow, I hadn't noticed that two episodes popped up recently! Interesting episode, it's always fascinating to me to see the strange things that people will believe.

I'm with you on the orbs, though; as an experienced photographer, they definitely look like lens flares and other light aberrations than anything spiritual.

Kinsey

Bishop^, yes, I can't really pass judgement on John of God, but those orb pics are complete BS.
