Memorial Day

I really didn't have much to say about Memorial Day. Despite the fact that my father was in the navy, I was never raised to think anything of it. Some of the people I read have much more to offer on the subject, so I'll refer you to them.

Orionoir -- on memorial day i do think of the dead, even though the holiday's meant as a sop to the overfed job-monopolists called unions.

Receptionista -- with what's going on in iraq now, saying things like this out loud may brand me as a rabid patriot and turn off my fellow liberals.
